We went there on Friday night and had crispy pancake, spring rolls , salt and pepper eggplant and a chicken curry. All were very good and all gluten free. Atmosphere was buzzy and the service was excellent. Probably too many people but all was done properly. I would highly recommend this place . By the their pho is also excellent but be careful if you order spicy soup as it’s really spicy.
Ordered via ubereats from this store twice. Everything was still nice and hot when they arrived both times. The Vietnamese crispy pancake was a generous size, crispy, and the flavour was delicious, as were the pickled carrots and dipping sauce. It would have been even better had they given a few more leaves of lettuce as there was no where near enough provided. The quail was also nicely seasoned but on the dry side, and did not have as much meat as quail I've had from other places. The mixed entree were OK, nothing particularly stood out as amazing.. The wings were really tasty, but on the dry side. The prawn rice paper roll was pretty standard, tasted fresh. The bun bo hue was one of the best I've had in Sydney, rich with depth of flavour, and very aromatic. The pho was also pretty good, it's the style of broth I prefer, but I do believe the chili beef noodles outshone the pho here. My only complaint was the Thai basil was not that fresh.
Overall, delicious food, and the price was pretty reasonable!
Have been eating at this place for years and it's always fantastic. Every dish of food is amazing and they serve the only authentic Vietnamese spring rolls I have had outside of Vietnam. Furthermore, when I thought I had lost my keys the owner went out of his way to go back after closing late at night to ease my fears. Awesome all round. Thanks UR PHO!
